Geo Environmental Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Geo Environmental Project Engineer to join our team at Evan Craig. As a Geo Environmental Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy and contracting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Estimate and determine the feasibility of projects, agreeing cost estimates with clients and managing project budgets.
  2. Carry out Phase I Desk Studies and Walkover Surveys, identifying potential environmental risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  3. Conduct Phase II+ intrusive investigations, including risk assessment and interpretative report writing.
  4. Inspect project sites to monitor progress on remediation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Direct the collection and field analysis of soil and material samples, and schedule samples for laboratory analysis.
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science (or equivalent).
  2. Minimum 2 years' professional background in a site investigation company or engineering consultancy.

  1. Salary £30,000 - £42,000.
