Position: Beverage Service Associate (Internally referred to as Food and Beverage Assistant)

Location: Crofton Halls, Orpington

Compensation: £11.44 per hour plus additional benefits

Employment Type: Flexible (zero-hour contract)

Primary Duties:

  • Warmly welcome and serve patrons
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in accordance with company standards
  • Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations
  • Adhere to portion control and presentation standards
  • Ensure proper labeling and stock rotation of food and beverages
  • Oversee vending machine maintenance and assist with restocking
  • Efficiently operate the cash register and adhere to financial protocols
  • Receive and securely store incoming deliveries
  • Keep the food and beverage area clean, safe, and inviting
  • Conduct safety and cleanliness inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of work areas
  • Supervise front-of-house operations during events
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to management
  • Promote energy conservation and minimize waste
  • Wear the designated uniform, including a name badge
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
  • May involve working independently, collaborating with a team, and holding keys

While prior experience in a fast-paced bar environment is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided. It is crucial to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be eligible to serve alcoholic beverages.

Availability for early shifts, late nights, and weekends is essential.
