About the Role

The position of Area Sales Manager HVAC Building Services involves promoting a range of HVAC full systems, gas water heaters, and solar thermal systems to commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial HVAC field sales and be able to target projects such as schools, sports & leisure, hotels, care homes, and restaurants.

The successful applicant will spend approximately 60%-70% of their time growing relationships with large MEP Contractors, M&E contractors, and HVAC plumbing & heating contractors/installers on patch. The remaining 30-40% of their time will be spent selling through specification M&E consultants, local authorities, and architects.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000-£55,000 basic, with a bonus of up to £55,000 per year. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a car allowance or hybrid company car.

Main Responsibilities

  • Field sales role promoting a manufactured and distributed range of HVAC full systems;">
  • Targeting commercial projects where a lot of water is consumed;">
  • Spending 60%-70% of time growing relationships within circa 40 large MEP Contractors, M&E contractors, HVAC plumbing & heating contractors/installers on patch;">
  • Selling through specification M&E consultants, local authorities, and architects;">
  • Conducting 1-2 CPD presentations per week in the longer term;">


Required Skills

The ideal applicant will be an experienced Area Sales Manager HVAC Building Services with:
  • ">
  • Commercial HVAC field sales background from the plumbing & heating building services sector;">
  • HVAC specification field sales experience with M&E consultants, MEP Contractors, local authorities, or architects;">
  • Technically minded with ability to present CPDs and track projects;">
  • Ideal knowledge of full HVAC systems, hot water circuits, gas flues +/or boilers, chillers etc.">


Benefits
