Senior Workshop Technician

The Senior Workshop Technician is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality completion of all tasks. This role involves advanced technical skills, leadership, and the ability to manage workshop technicians and testers. The Senior Workshop Technician will work closely with the Customer Services Advisor to optimise workflows and ensure customer satisfaction.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed with the customer service advisor.
- Manage and assist with customer complaints alongside the Customer service advisor and the Customer Care Manager.
- Inspect and QC completed work to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications.
- Conduct performance reviews of workshop employees.
- Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Skills Needed
For this role, you will need to have excellent technical skills, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a customer-focused approach.
