Job Title: Finance Business Partner

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Business Finance Team at Marshalls. As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with business leaders in our Natural Stone and Landscape Protection Business Units, driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, accounts, reporting cycles, and financial performance.
  • Take ownership of the P&L and your business unit's performance, using your keen judgement to manage and escalate issues effectively.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts / budgets and monthly accounts, and present insightful Business Review Packs to our Executive Leadership Team, influencing key strategic decisions.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and driving the business toward its strategic goals, enhancing the financial performance of our BUs, boosting profitability and improving the top line.

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified and actively pursuing studies (study support available).
  • Commercial business knowledge and FP&A experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ambitious, determined, and eager to engage with leadership teams, you are driven to challenge the norm, status quo and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Team player with a strong motivation to succeed, resilience, well organised and structured approach.
  • Able to foster productive relationships across the businesses with multi-level contacts.
