Join Our Team as a Field Service Engineer

About the Role:

As a Field Service Engineer with Luton Bennett, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on materials handling machinery in a field-based engineering role. You will work within a designated geographical area, providing reactive breakdown coverage and completing comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs on materials handling machinery
  2. Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Manage spares inventory and ensure timely delivery to the field


Requirements:

  1. Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  3. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
