We are seeking a dynamic and well-qualified Design and Technology Teacher - Food Technology to join our 'Outstanding' secondary school based in Rugby. The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Food Technology at KS3/4 and contributing to a dynamic department. They will also be expected to contribute to student progress and participate in curriculum development.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Teach Food Technology at KS3/4
  • Contribute to a dynamic department and make a valid contribution to student progress

Requirements:

  1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained
  2. PGCE in Design and Technology or degree level equivalent
  3. Extensive experience teaching Food Technology to KS3 and KS4
  4. Good behavioural management and subject knowledge
  5. Proven track record of raising attainment and keeping standards high
