We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing property consultancy, Greenwood & Partners Recruitment Ltd, who are looking to add a Technical Services Manager to a commercial site in Central London.
The role of the Technical Services Manager is to ensure the consistent delivery of facilities management technical advice and support services to a key client and supporting the Building Management team.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Direct the M&E Service provider to deliver high-quality maintenance and maintain full statutory compliance.
- Ownership of all technical aspects of the site, working closely with the Senior Building Manager to ensure all services necessary are provided for the full and effective operation of the site in accordance with the provisions of the leases, and as directed by the Management Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise regularly with all occupiers, keeping them informed of all Technical works and services within the buildings that could impact Tenant operations as well as impressions on their visitors/stakeholders.
- Ensure the site O&M portal is maintained with the current site technical documentation & drawings.
- Assist with the completion of Way leave Agreements and Licences to Alter, inputting into the technical aspects as required.
- Assist the Management Surveyor in the provision of formal written reports and attend client meetings as required.
- Work with the Building management team in relation to the on-going management of energy, sustainability, and initiatives, potential for future initiatives such as BREAM in Use, Well Programmes, etc.
Candidates will have significant knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering systems and the operation and maintenance of building services systems. You will also have a sound understanding of H&S compliance and ideally hold a NEBOSH qualification.
