Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per year

Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Technical Safety Expert. The role involves performing safety activities in support of Systems in development, manufacture and in-service. This includes producing safety case reports and associated documentation, assessing supplier safety compliance, conducting safety analysis activity reports, and providing safety input to life-cycle management core engineering processes and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and validate safety case reports
• Assess supplier safety compliance in accordance with legislative and contractual safety requirements
• Conduct Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Provide safety input to life-cycle management core engineering processes and design reviews

Requirements:
• Experience in developing safety case reports and assessing their validity
• Comprehensive knowledge of hazard and risk management processes
• Familiarity with functional safety analysis using recognised methods
• Risk Management skills, including Hazard Logs, Hazard Identification and Hazard Analysis
• Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as Enterprise Architect and DOORS is desirable
• Knowledge of Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) for compiling Safety Arguments is desirable
