Key Responsibilities

The successful Mechanical Engineering Lead will be responsible for:

  • Innovating and delivering engineering processes, technology, people, and culture required by your capability area
  • Co-designing and delivering the product development solution (processes, methods, tools, technology, people, data)
  • Leading business change; communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, building coalitions, and creating urgency
  • Liaising with international and UK partners

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong analytical skills to analyse information and apply engineering judgement to solve problems
  • Proven experience in an Engineering Discipline role
  • Leadership experience, including leading small teams
  • Experience of different stages of the Product Lifecycle - Concept Design through to Integration and Test
  • Knowledge of Flowmaster (Siemens), & Team Centre Unified, and experience in developing processes, methods, and toolsets used in the product development process

This is a permanent role that offers an estimated salary of £58,000 and can be based in Preston, Samlesbury, Warton, or Brough.
