As a key member of the clinical team, you will provide pharmaceutical expertise and play a vital role in the safe, effective, and responsible management of patient care.

We work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, supporting a wide range of clinical services.

You will have the opportunity to participate in audits, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives, as well as attend team meetings, peer reviews, and CPD activities to ensure continued professional development.

Job Summary:

">

As a GP Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to patients regarding the use of medications, including the safe prescribing and monitoring of treatment.

You will work closely with GPs to assist in the management of chronic disease patients, conducting medication reviews and ensuring optimal drug therapy.

">

Additionally, you will use the EMIS system effectively for patient record-keeping, prescription generation, and medication monitoring.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  1. ">
  2. Qualified Independent Prescriber with active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).">
  3. Previous experience working within a GP practice or primary care setting, with a sound understanding of the dynamics of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.">
  4. Demonstrable experience of managing medications, prescribing, and conducting medication reviews in a primary care setting.">
  5. Registration with the GPhC and a valid Enhanced DBS check.">
