Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Kingfisher. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, as well as experience in integrating these technologies with diverse digital ecosystems. You will be responsible for leading the creation of detailed high-level designs for complex programmes, ensuring that solutions are high-quality, functional, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and provide guidance on architectural decisions, ensuring they are robust, well-documented, and align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead the creation of detailed high-level designs for complex programmes, integrating well with existing systems, meeting business goals, and aligning to architecture standards and principles.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and technology, recommending improvements and exploring innovative solutions.
  • Lead and manage the product selection process, ensuring that the most suitable products and technologies are chosen to meet business capability requirements, align with architecture principles, and technology strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Solution Architects aligned to the programme, ensuring that solutions are implemented that bring to bear Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect, with deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and related technologies, including the Azure cloud platform and its services.
  • Familiarity with Finance in the context of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in integrating Microsoft Dynamics with diverse digital ecosystems using cloud-native integration patterns and standard APIs.
  • Demonstrated track record of customizing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications to align with business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and across IT and the retail businesses.
