Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team at The Beacon in Ramsgate. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in promoting recovery for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with service users to promote engagement and independence, facilitating access to resources and services.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships to address recovery goals and support individuals in achieving their full potential.
  • Work closely with occupational therapists and nursing staff to deliver effective depot/clozapine clinics and well-being checks.
  • Participate in groups with psychology and occupational therapy teams, and have opportunities to run groups with occupational therapists.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Basic understanding of IT
    • Knowledge of secondary mental health diagnosis
    • Previous mental health care experience
  • Desirable:
    • Previous knowledge of RiO
    • Good level of English language written and spoken
    • Caring and compassionate nature, with a willingness to learn
