About the Role
Pencoedtre High School is seeking a highly organised and efficient Examinations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, overseeing, and managing all examination processes, ensuring effective liaison with Exam Boards, students, staff, and Senior Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage examination processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Provide support and guidance to students, staff, and parents regarding examination procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with Curriculum leaders and Support Staff to develop and implement examination strategies.
- Recruit and lead a team of casual exam invigilators, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of examination results, student data, and other relevant information.
Requirements
- High level of IT proficiency, particularly in data analysis and management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
