As a Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role within our Refugee Support and Restoring Family Links Service. You will be working alongside an operational team delivering frontline services and provide a vital link in our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Providing administrative support to the team
- Data Management
- Responding to external enquiries
- You are organised and can plan, manage and monitor your own workload
- Fully IT literate
- Excellent time management skills. You can respond to and prioritise a range of competing demands
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- You can recognise the implications of working within a charity and a voluntary organisation
- You can demonstrate flexibility and open-mindedness
- You have the ability to listen, empathise and provide emotional support to highly distressed and vulnerable people in crisis
