Job Summary

Heritage is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to our facilities for disposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate semi-vans and straight trucks to collect waste material and transport it to our facilities.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment daily to ensure they are in excellent operating condition.
  • Complete manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed.
  • Maintain electronic hours of service for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations.
  • Act as a Company representative with courtesy towards customers.
  • Load freight and handle drums safely.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of Class A CDL driving experience required. Three years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred. Tanker/Hazmat required.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations and DOT Regulations.
  • Class A CDL w/ hazmat endorsement. Must meet Heritage driving qualifications.
