Job Summary

Heritage is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to our disposal facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate semi-tankers and straight trucks to transport waste materials to designated disposal sites.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment daily to ensure they are in excellent operating condition.
  • Complete manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed.
  • Maintain logbooks for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations.
  • Act as a Company representative with courtesy towards customers.
  • Load freight and climb tankers as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of Class A CDL driving experience required. Three years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred. Tanker/Hazmat required.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
  • Good interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
