About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team at SDW Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage import sea freight shipments, including arranging collections, booking with carriers, and ensuring Customs formalities are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise new job files, collate shipping documentation, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve logistics processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous freight forwarding experience, with a strong understanding of shipping documentation and Customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software, including logistics management tools and Microsoft Office.
