Manufacturing Manager Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to oversee the production process and ensure an efficient and effective operation at Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the production schedule, resources, and quality control processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage schedule adherence of production operations to meet production targets
* Manage resources to ensure all areas are fully manned where required
* Communicate and feedback any scheduling or quality issues to the team
* Attend quality meetings and participate in NCR activities through RCCA
* Attend pre-production meetings to represent the production facility and ensure concerns or complications are highlighted
* Run daily production meetings on the shop floor to drive a culture of 5S workplace organization, H&S, and quality
* Lead and motivate teams of production workers, Team Leaders, and support staff to achieve employee engagement and satisfactory training completion
* Monitor and improve production cycle time
**Requirements**
* Significant exposure to Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement methodologies
* Production / Shift Management experience within a CNC Machining environment is ideal
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies
* Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis
