Public Sector Audit Manager

The Role- Manage a large portfolio of audit clients
- Solve complex technical matters for clients and project manage client work
- Focus on client deliverables and ensure a culture of quality in everything you do
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, creating an inclusive culture and inspiring people to realise their potential
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects
- Strive to push yourself and the business further, knowing you're supported every step of the way
We're looking for a qualified professional with post-qualification experience and a strong track record of managing audits of public sector bodies. You'll need excellent knowledge of the CIPFA Code and Department of Health Group Accounting Manual, as well as experience of project management and IFRS. You'll also need to be confident in using audit software and Microsoft packages.
