About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our Medical and Frailty Same Day Emergency Care team as a Healthcare Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients using observations and relevant safety tools.
- Meet hygiene and dietary needs of patients.
- Work alongside nurses and within the scope of practice.
- Contribute to general housekeeping on the unit.
- Administer tasks as required.
- Utilize computer systems to input patient care and request relevant items within scope of practice.
Requirements
- NVQ level 2 in Health/Care or equivalent acute healthcare experience.
- English & Math's GCSE grade 9-2 (A*- E).
- Willingness to undertake any training or development relevant to the role.
