Job Description

Clean Water Modeller, Peterborough / Cambridge

AtkinsRéalis is a leading design, engineering, and project management consultancy with a strong presence in the water sector. We are seeking an experienced Clean Water Modeller to join our team in Peterborough or Cambridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects as part of a team, managing and coordinating field testing, and using hydraulic models for planning and operational purposes. They will also investigate and resolve water infrastructure issues through the development of design solutions.

The Individual:

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with a passion for water engineering. The successful candidate will be working towards a professional qualification and will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering or water management related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent team working skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of projects as part of a team.
  • Management and coordination of field testing.
  • Use of hydraulic models for planning and operational purposes.
  • Investigation and resolution of water infrastructure issues.
  • Interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and anomaly identification.
  • Technical report writing.
