Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Freight European Operator to join our team at DivalentineCalver Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating European road freight operations, building strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring seamless delivery of goods.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with European road freight clients, identifying opportunities to maximize their business potential.

* Collaborate with suppliers to establish reliable and cost-effective European services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

* Calculate freight quotations for export and import shipments, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.

* Manage operational administration, including job cards and booking confirmations, to ensure smooth logistics operations.

* Oversee customs clearance formalities, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery of goods.

* Coordinate European road freight consignments, from transit to delivery, ensuring successful completion and customer satisfaction.

* Invoicing and completing job files, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in European road freight operations, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering results.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and suppliers.

* Excellent numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately calculate freight quotations and manage logistics operations.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
