About the Role
Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team on a £679 million improvement project on the A428 in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will work closely with design partner Mott MacDonald and contribute to planning and executing site works in accordance with design and contract scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Develop temporary works design briefs and review designs for accuracy.
- Contribute to the project 4-week lookahead programme and manage site works clashes.
- Understand design specifications and drawings for the section.
- Deliver Inspection and Test Plans and identify Non-Conformances.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and digital tools.
- Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.
- Relevant CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
Preferred Experience
- Excavation works, concrete works, and structural steelwork experience.
