HR Systems and Technical Support Specialist

Neo People Management is a leading provider of HR and payroll solutions for schools and multi-academy trusts in the UK. We understand the unique challenges of working within these institutions and have been supporting our clients to grow and develop.
We offer proactive operational and strategic HR advice to hundreds of schools and deliver a high-quality payroll and pensions service that pays the salaries of 25,000 school-based staff each month.
We are seeking a skilled HR Systems & Technical Support Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the iTrent HRIS system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to configure and maintain the iTrent environment to meet and exceed the needs of schools and multi-academy trusts.
- Help coordinate internal and external resources to configure, test, and deploy HRIS functionality to meet the needs of clients.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to customise the system according to business needs and integrate iTrent with other HR-related software.
- Maintain high client satisfaction by ensuring accuracy, addressing service-related issues promptly, and managing escalated client concerns.
- Collaborate with various teams to review, test, and authorise system performance in line with statutory and contractual requirements.
- Support, coach, and mentor colleagues, ensuring all team training is current and up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of payroll and experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (iTrent highly desirable).
- Experience producing Management Information reports and understanding Data Protection and GDPR principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and advanced Excel skills (v-lookup).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts and projects.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
