Job Summary:

AWE's Nuclear Threat Reduction (NTR) Operations team is seeking an experienced professional to support logistics operations and maintenance of operational capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing operational planning, learning and development, capability management and validation activities, in accordance with relevant policies, processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support logistics operations and maintenance of operational capabilities
  • Complete operational planning, learning and development, capability management and validation activities
  • Work closely with the NTR Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of operational capabilities

Requirements:
  • Full, clean Category C DVLA licence and in date associated requirements
  • Extensive experience of driving commercial goods vehicles
  • Forklift Truck qualification - either B1 or lorry demountable

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Slinging & Lifting / LOLER
  • ADR Driving
  • Skills and experience of equipment maintenance
