As a key player in our senior management team, you'll be at the forefront of developing and managing simulation and control capabilities across a wide range of exciting industries, including Aerospace, eVTOL, Marine, and Cockpit Controls. You'll work alongside other engineering leaders, ensuring we have the right technical skills, methods and processes in place to drive forward a wide range of innovative projects.

The Simulation and Control group provides mathematical modelling and analysis across many technical areas, including:

  • Electro-mechanical equipment modelling
  • Electro-mechanical actuator modelling, control and design
  • Flight dynamics modelling and analysis
  • Flight stability and control law analysis
  • Marine vessel auto-pilots and hover function design

You'll have a strong industrial background in areas related to simulation and control, with a solid understanding of the technical challenges in this field. Your passion for hands-on engineering will shine as you guide your team in solving complex problems, while your leadership skills will help shape the future of our capabilities.

Demonstrable experience in technical leadership, including line management and process improvement.

This role will be based in our Bristol office however as part of our commitment to flexible working, employees are able to work from home for part of the week.
