We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our team at Wales & West Utilities Limited. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the security of our IT systems and supporting the delivery of our carbon-free vision for 2050.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the security support for IT projects and other Cyber project initiatives
  • Ensure that IT projects adhere to security policies, secure architecture principles, and regulatory cyber assessment frameworks
  • Document and log security assessments and penetration testing where required
  • Evaluate and co-ordinate tickets assigned by IT from WWU colleagues to the security team within WWU IT's ticketing system
  • Provide security support into other WWU projects and ongoing programmes of work, on both a planned and adhoc basis

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cyber-attack modelling techniques, network security, information security control and compliance standards, and incident response processes. A good understanding of CSIRT and incident response process and procedures is also essential.
