Junior Quantity Surveyor Specialist

About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our quantity surveying team in managing construction projects' costs and contracts.
">Main Responsibilities
">- ">
- Develop detailed cost estimates for projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.">
- Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to prepare project budgets, including materials, labour, and other expenses.">
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to the quantity surveying team.">
- Support in the tendering process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating subcontractor proposals.">
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.">
- Support in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.">
- Assist in preparing and administering construction contracts, including variations and valuations.">
- Assist in resolving disputes or conflicts related to contracts in collaboration with the quantity surveying team and project stakeholders.">

">What We Offer
">We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a supportive environment, opportunities for personal development, and a comprehensive benefits package.

- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience is desirable.">
