Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Materials Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of production contracts that include both development and production elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all planning activities to ensure the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective planning strategies to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of production contracts.
  • Analyze and resolve complex planning issues, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or manufacturing engineering.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in SAP a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Due to the nature of this role, you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship to be eligible for security clearance.
