As a Planning & Logistics Officer at our Operational Control Centre (OCC) in Gloucester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of this complex process.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator - Prisoner Escort Services.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to plan and schedule vehicles for the safe transport of prisoners, working closely with crews and establishments to ensure timely and secure delivery.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring vehicles and responding to emergency alarms raised by crews, as well as coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure the safe return of prisoners to their destinations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Detailed understanding of logistics planning and scheduling, with experience in organizing large-scale operations preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data and information.
