Job Description

We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Port Talbot. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of our lunchtime service and maintaining hygienic conditions in the kitchen.

  • Duties:
  • Washing up
  • Setting up and clearing away equipment and tables
  • Cleaning of kitchen, its surrounds and equipment
  • Preparing high-quality meals for young people

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and adhere to Food and Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements

No formal qualifications are required for this post; however, you will be required to undertake training in basic food hygiene and attend relevant training courses.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure (Child's) from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
