We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Norton Canes. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and refurbishing various types of plant equipment and attachments, including Boom Access Platforms, Excavators, Trailers and Unimogs.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer who can develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, as well as conduct routine maintenance and repairs on-site or in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plant equipment and attachments, ensuring they are safe and functioning properly
  • Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing plant equipment
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on-site or in the workshop
Requirements and Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plant mechanics
  • 5 years industry experience
  • Ability to read technical schematics and understand hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Good work ethic and communication skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £18-£19 per hour, paid for 40 hours of work per week. Additional benefits include company events, free parking and private medical insurance.
