We are excited to be partnering with Stride Resource Management Ltd, a leading provider of claims management and loss adjusting services, to recruit a highly skilled Building Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical expert to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the company.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the insurance industry and be technically competent in building surveying. They will be responsible for working alongside loss adjusters to progress and settle claims efficiently, conducting initial visits and assessing damage to a high professional standard, and providing appraisal reports with budget costings and recommendations.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborating with loss adjusters to provide technical expertise and support in the claims process.
  • Conducting site visits and assessing damage to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.
  • Providing detailed appraisal reports with budget costings and recommendations to support the claims process.
  • Working closely with the claims team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and changes in health and safety legislation.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the insurance industry and technical competence in building surveying.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using technology and systems to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
