About the Company

Our client, a leading planning, design, and development consultancy, is expanding its ecological services across the UK. They seek a commercially ambitious and technically excellent ecologist to join their multidisciplinary team.

The Role

As a cornerstone associate, you will be responsible for analysing and coordinating complex ecological strategies within our team. Your expertise in Biodiversity Net Gain, ecological impact assessment, and reporting on BREEAM and habitat regulations will be invaluable.

About You

We are looking for a competent job runner with a proven track record of excellent report writing and experience with the BNG metric and management plans. A solid understanding of UK flora and fauna, wildlife legislation, and the planning system is essential.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years' experience as a senior or equivalent level ecologist in a commercial or planning-focused business.
  • A genuine team player who can confidently mentor junior staff.
  • A member of CIEEM or an equivalent body who has achieved or is working towards chartered ecologist status.
