We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Quantitative Research and Development Lead to join our Portfolio Implementation team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive process innovation by identifying opportunities to generate alpha through data-driven insights and the application of machine learning techniques.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models and tools to drive investment decisions, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage your expertise in credit markets and fundamental credit analyses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining complex mathematical models to evaluate credit spreads and yield curves
  • Collaborating with investment managers to develop and implement portfolio optimization strategies
  • Leveraging machine learning techniques to improve predictive accuracy and generate alpha

Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including proficiency in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
  • Experience working with large financial datasets and SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively communicate results to non-technical stakeholders

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, performance bonus, and flexible working arrangements.
