At Standby Healthcare Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team providing residential care for children and young people. This permanent full-time role offers an attractive salary of up to £28,500 per annum depending on experience.

We require an experienced individual with QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent and at least three years of residential children's home experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, supporting tasks such as quality assurance and regulatory visits, and ensuring the continued assessment of young people's day-to-day needs.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 Children's Residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner qualification, a UK Driving Licence, and minimum three years of experience working with children and young people. They must also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and full rights to work in the UK.

This is a shift-based role with a pattern of two days on and four days off, including sleep-in shifts. In return for their hard work, successful candidates can expect a competitive salary package, including a £500 salary increase upon completion of probation and annual increases for each year of service. Other benefits include a generous holiday allowance, enhanced overtime rates, and a refer-a-friend scheme.
