Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team of professionals to create a safe and nurturing environment for young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins, to ensure 24/7 care and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in a residential setting (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues, young people, and external agencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a focus on de-escalating challenging behaviors.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of young people and the organization.
