Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Coventry. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including order picking, packing and despatch work, goods inwards work, and warehouse and yard duties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out order picking and packing duties to meet customer deadlines.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse and yard operations.
  • Assist with goods inwards work, including receiving and processing deliveries.
  • Perform warehouse and yard duties, including tidying and housekeeping.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the team.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Please note that this is a temporary position with the possibility of leading to a permanent role. You will need to have a driver's license and own transport to commute to the role.
