Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Despatch/Warehouse Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpacking and receipting goods, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Picking and packing orders for despatch to customers, utilizing hand-held scanners for stock checks and control
  • General Warehouse duties, including moving items, lifting (not heavy), and using trolleys for unloading goods
  • Simple assembly work in the workshop, adhering to quality standards
  • Quality Assurance, ensuring products meet company standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, free from obstruction
  • Utilizing IT systems for despatch processing and printing invoices

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in a Warehouse/Workshop or Despatch environment, although not essential for a trainee
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using despatch scanners and IT systems
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and reactivity to the changing needs of the business
  • Strong team spirit and attention to detail

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am/9:30am - 4:30pm

Salary:

Up to £24,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience and hours worked
