Company Overview:
Our client is a prominent international FMCG organization operating within the food and beverage industry. They are renowned for managing a diverse portfolio of established brands, focusing on the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of a wide array of proprietary food products. In the UK, they collaborate with major supermarket chains to ensure product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Supervise the complete supply chain process, enhance stock availability, guarantee timely delivery of products, and refine operational processes.
- Demand Forecasting: Engage in monthly assessments, adjust inventory parameters, and support updates to demand forecasts.
- Inventory and Production Coordination: Track supply signals, oversee purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Freight and Inbound Logistics: Organize freight logistics, update shipping information, coordinate inbound logistics, and manage customs procedures.
- Warehouse and Stock Oversight: Address inventory deficiencies, communicate with third-party logistics providers, monitor stock conditions, and provide details for new product introductions.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders, manage returns, and relay batch information to retail partners.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in supply chain management is required, with knowledge of import/export processes, particularly in the APAC region. FMCG industry experience is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Compensation:
£30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum
