About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Victoria in Withington. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the front of house team and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the front of house team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure a high-energy atmosphere in the pub.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure effective inventory control.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Coach and develop the team to achieve their full potential and improve site performance.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving budget targets.
  • Utilize company IT platforms to complete required processes and procedures, ensuring operational and legislative compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience of managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
