Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing quality care to patients of all ages, including collecting blood samples, entering patient information, and organizing workload to ensure timely results.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples using venipunctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks
- Enter patient information into the hospital system, verifying demographics and updating insurance information as needed
- Organize workload to ensure timely results for providers
- Maintain proper inventory of supplies and clean work areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: A high school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. Phlebotomy certification is also necessary.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
