Job Description:

We are a leading US-owned business with multiple sites across the UK, seeking an experienced SOX compliance specialist to lead and operate IT controls for SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our SOX compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our IT systems and processes, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), ERP systems, and segregation of duties.
  • Design and implement effective IT security and cyber controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT control gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to control owners and other stakeholders on SOX compliance matters.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness of our SOX compliance program.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SOX compliance, IT security, and IT operations.
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, ERP systems, and segregation of duties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
