We are a charity based in Leigh, providing support to the homeless, destitute, and needy.

Our team is looking for a Logistics Assistant to assist our driver with van operations, including occasional driving when the driver is on holiday.

Job Description

The role involves collecting food and furniture, as well as making deliveries to customers and other organisations. This requires lifting heavy boxes of food and furniture items such as beds and sofas.

The ideal candidate will have experience of driving vans and be able to lift and move heavy furniture and boxes.

Requirements
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience of driving vans of the size referred to above.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and boxes.
