Overview

We are partnering with a successful Not for Profit organisation operating across the Yorkshire and Humber region to lead the search for multiple Trustees (Non-Executive Directors) on behalf of this innovative charity.

This charity has been working alongside people affected by substance misuse for over 40 years, aiming to make positive change through their mission. They partner with the NHS to strengthen the existing Board and work towards a common goal.

The Opportunity

A national Drug (and Alcohol) Strategy was developed based on the report produced by Dame Carol Black. If you can spare time to make a difference, you could play an important role in strengthening the existing Board.

The Roles

We are seeking to appoint three Trustees in total, including the key role of Charity Secretary:

  • Charity Secretary – someone with previous Company Secretary experience would be suitable for this role; able to steer the Board on matters of the articles of association, statutory duties, responsibilities and compliance.
