Job Title: Junior Investment Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Investment Analyst to join our team at Martis Search. As a Junior Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end investment due diligence reviews of new equity and equity long-short funds and their managers, as well as monitoring funds on the approved list.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of investment opportunities, including equity and equity long-short funds
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the market environment and equity investment products
  • Contribute to internal discussions on investment ideas and strategies
  • Work closely with the Head of Equities and other team members to identify and evaluate investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience working in a fund selection capacity or a directly related role within the investment management industry
  • Relevant industry qualification (e.g. CFA, IAD, CISI Diploma)
  • Deep knowledge of the fund management industry and investment processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numeric, with strong understanding of quantitative analysis techniques

What We Offer:
