Banana Moon Day Nurseries is a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early years education. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in delivering exceptional care and education to children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Support and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's quality of care and education.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
- Experience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training.
