People Support Specialist

DEBRA International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Support Specialist to join their team in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenging role with a national charity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a small team. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
About the Role:
Main Activities- Carry out general administrative duties, such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Support new hire onboarding by completing DBS checks, obtaining references, and issuing necessary documentation.
- Collate payroll information and input data onto the payroll system.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively with clear and concise language.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
