About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our team in Blantyre, Scotland. This is a permanent office/site based role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing competent health, safety, quality (assurance) and site environmental advice to our team members and management. They will ensure inspections and guidance are carried out effectively, provide challenge where required, promote safe equipment, standards and methods of working, and lead by example.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Stop work when unsafe conditions are identified, agree and document a safe solution, and re-brief as necessary.
  • Assist the operational team with reviewing CDM documentation.
  • Assure processes and working methods meet industry standards.
  • Take an active role in developing and promoting a positive HSQE culture.
  • E nsure compliance with Keltbray standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct task analysis of risk assessments and method statements/task briefings.
  • Provide support and advice to staff on sustainable practices.
  • Closure of all requirements and findings within the required timescales.
  • Promote the closure of NCR's and OFI's.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Kelvin Top Set 1 day – 3 day course completion.
  • Report writing course completion.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CSCS certification.
  • EUSR certification.
  • PTS certification.
